Order Processing

We will give you a confirmation email as soon as we receive your order, after which we process it by verifying that it is in stock and prepared for shipping. You will be notified through email if any of the items in your order are backordered, and you can decide whether to wait or get a 100% refund.

Please allow 1-3 days for processing your order.

Shipping

We offerΒ FREEΒ shipping on all orders delivered by FedEx Ground, FedEx Freight or theΒ most affordable available provider. Shipping times and shipping method will depend on the specific product and brand.The shipping carrier will deliver your orderΒ curbside. The carrier will NOT deliver into your home, kitchen or elsewhere. If necessary, please arrange assistance to receive your order.Please get in touch with us at (833) 600-1910 orΒ Support@directhomeconnection.comΒ if you'd need a more precise shipment time estimate for your order. Smaller things can typically be shipped via a parcel delivery service like UPS, whereas bigger items may require scheduled delivery through freight services.


We do not ship to PO Boxes.Β 

Delivery for truck freight shipments typically occurs 3 to 10 business days after your order leaves the warehouse. The freight carrier will get in touch with you to arrange a delivery time when your shipment shows up at a nearby terminal.

We will send tracking information for your order immediately when it becomes available.Β We strongly advise you to check the status of your package online or by calling the carrier. Delivery and Inspection

Upon arrival of your product, please inspect the exterior and interior for damages. You must open and inspect the parts for any type of damage and report it to the driver before it is signed for. If the package is damaged, contact us immediately for more information at Support@directhomeconnection.com

If the unit is signed for without inspection or notation, you are accepting the delivery of the package in good condition. We cannot process an insurance claim with the freight company if the unit is signed for (which means you received it in good condition). In the event the unit arrives damaged and the entire shipment or parts of the shipment is refused, we will replace the unit/parts upon availability of the replacement unit or parts that are damaged.

Inspect the package immediately even if you will not be installing the unit. The shipping company requires the customer to report any damages within the first 48 hours after delivery. Your shipment will be delivered by a freight carrier using a single driver. Please make sure someone is available to help the delivery person unload the items.

The freight company will only deliver goods to a ground floor location and are not responsible for moving your items upstairs. Ensure that someone can assist the driver with moving heavy/bulky goods at the delivery location. If redelivery needs to be arranged because no one was at the delivery location an extra charge may be applied.
